Free admission and discounted overnight stays

The Canada Strong Pass is back! Enjoy free admission and 25% off camping and overnight stays with Parks Canada from June 19 to September 7, 2026.

Available to buy online in 2026

The following admission passes and permits can be bought online:

  • Discovery Passes (outside of the Canada Strong Pass period only)
  • seasonal mooring permits (Spring 2026)

Available to buy in-person in 2026

You can buy passes and permits in person outside of the Canada Strong Pass period, where available.

For those visiting outside of the free admission dates, Parks Canada’s team members will help you find the best value for admission once you arrive.

If you already hold a Discovery Pass or annual single-location pass valid during any Canada Strong Pass period, the pass will be automatically extended.

Where to get your Discovery Pass

The Discovery Pass is your gateway to history, nature, and adventure. It provides unlimited admission for 12 full months at the more than 80 Parks Canada places listed below.

Be prepared for your trip by purchasing your Discovery Pass online with Parks Canada (outside of the Canada Strong Pass periods only)


Places to use your Discovery Pass

The following locations will waive daily admission fees when you present your Discovery Pass. Certain conditions or additional fees may apply at certain locations.
