Annual single-location passes are normally valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Lockage and mooring permits
For certain canals and historic waterways administered by Parks Canada. Lockage, mooring and other boating permits are available on-site.

Canada Strong Pass ended September 7, 2026
Regular fees apply as of September 8, 2026. As part of the Canada Strong Pass, the Government of Canada offered free admission and discounted camping to places operated by Parks Canada, during three different periods, from:
- June 19 to September 7, 2026
- December 12, 2025, to January 15, 2026
- June 20 to September 2, 2025

Fees are charged at most national parks and historic sites. Revenues support visitor programs, services, facilities and conservation efforts. Thank you for helping maintain and protect the places you love!
