GCWCC results – Thank you for your support!

Dear colleagues,

As the GCWCC comes to a close, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity this year. Together, Parks Canada team members donated enough to surpass our goal and raise more than $186,000 for 353 charities! This achievement reflects the compassion and community spirit that define Parks Canada.

Your contributions, whether through donations, participating in events, volunteering, or simply spreading the word, have had a meaningful impact. From bake-offs to virtual trivia to silent auctions, your energy and creativity shone throughout.

As our President and CEO, Ron Hallman, reminded us:

“One thing I’ve learned over time is that we rarely know the challenges our colleagues, friends, or neighbours may be facing. And none of us can predict when we might have to overcome hardships ourselves. That’s why your support matters so much—it strengthens our community and reminds us that we’re here for one another.”
