Bell Let’s talk Day: Young people's mental health

Dear Parks Canada team members,

We are excited to announce our participation in the Bell Let’s Talk Day on January 22, 2025! This year’s theme is “Young People’s Mental Health”.

The Bell Let’s Talk campaign aims to raise awareness and encourage open discussions about mental health. By participating, we can help create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all Parks Canada employees.

Let’s take action together to improve mental health in the workplace and to drive meaningful change, not only on Bell Let’s Talk Day but throughout the entire year!

As wellness co-champions, we invite you to visit the Bell Let’s Talk Day page on ParksNet. You will find useful resources, innovative tools, and links to sign up for activities that interest you. Whether you choose to participate individually or as a team, your engagement highlights the importance of mental health in our work environment.

We also want to take this opportunity to highlight our partnership with the 988 helpline. To that end, the wellness team will be hosting a bilingual session with their experts on January 22 at 12:00 p.m. (ET). This event will provide valuable information about their suicide prevention resources and safe workplace promotion tools. Make sure to add it to your calendar!

We strongly encourage you to participate in this activity and to play an active role in promoting a culture of empathy, support, and mental well-being at Parks Canada.
