Blitz for the GCWCC – It’s not too late to make a difference!
Dear colleagues,
As we enter the final stretch of this year’s Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign (GCWCC), I want to sincerely thank everyone for their participation to date. Together, we are making steady progress towards our shared goal of delivering tangible benefits in local communities and in the lives of neighbours and families who rely on this support.
In the spirit of Giving Tuesday, the global generosity movement, we are launching a final canvassing blitz. Everyone who makes a donation by Wednesday, December 3 will be entered into a draw for one of seven $50 gift cards generously donated by Parks Canada executives.
Your contributions make a real difference. Last year, public service employees raised nearly $28 million through this campaign, supporting food security, shelter, healthcare, animal welfare, the arts, and countless other services that strengthen our communities. I hope you will take a moment to consider whether you may be in a position to make a donation this year. Every contribution counts.
One of the primary reasons that people choose to donate through the GCWCC is its simplicity and flexibility:
- You can give to any registered Canadian charity.
- Payroll deduction makes giving effortless, and your donation will automatically appear on your T4 for tax credit.
- You can also donate by credit card, PayPal, cash or cheque, and receive a tax receipt.
Ready to give? Visit the GCWCC portal to make your contribution today.

Thank you for helping us make a lasting impact. It’s not too late to make a difference!
