It’s been 4 months since the Indigenous Stewardship Policy was enacted in ceremony on October 15, 2024. This policy guides the implementation of the Indigenous Stewardship Framework and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, everywhere that Parks Canada plays a role in administering.
