Performance Management Mid-Cycle Review: The conversation continues

Dear colleagues,

September marks the mid-cycle review point of our performance management cycle. This is a key step as it provides us with an opportunity to have an open and constructive dialogue, celebrate our successes, identify challenges, and explore areas of improvement to finish the year strong.

We invite each team members and their managers to complete the following steps by October 31, 2025:

  1. Review your objectives and learning plan: Ensure they align with current priorities and operational context. Update them as needed.
  2. Evaluate progress: Discuss progress and achievements and identify areas for improvement as needed.
  3. Sign: Document these discussions in the Public Service Performance Management (PSPM) application.

Seasonal employees

The established performance cycle timeframes may not apply to your period of employment. The Mid-Cycle Review should be conducted at the mid-point of the employment period. Visit the Seasonal Employees page for more details and resources.
