Announcement – Appointments within the Real Property and Assets Directorate

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the following appointments within the Real Property and Assets Directorate, effective July 4, 2024.

Diane started her public service career at Parks Canada in 2004 as a Planner for the Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site as well as the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site. Over the years, she held various positions in program management and policy development at National Office. In 2012, Diane fulfilled the position of Field Unit Superintendent, Western Arctic. In 2016, she became the Field Unit Superintendent, Yukon.

In August 2021, she accepted a new leadership role in an acting capacity under the Long-Term Asset Sustainability Initiative. Since April 2023, she has been acting Executive Director, Real Property and Asset Program Management.

Diane holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with specialization in marketing and economics from the University of British Columbia, as well as a Master’s degree in Resource Management from the Simon Fraser University.

Geneviève Robichaud, Director, Integrated Resource Management

Geneviève began her career in the public service in January 2017 as Project Manager at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. She then joined Parks Canada’s Quebec Field Unit in August 2017, where she led various initiatives to preserve Canadian cultural heritage, thereby fulfilling the Agency's primary mandate while also enhancing the public's appreciation and enjoyment of this heritage. Since July 2023, Geneviève has been acting Director, Integrated Resource Management.

Geneviève holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Université Laval.
