Tax slips in MyGCPay external access

Good day,

The MyGCPay external access was successfully implemented in July 2023. Since then, users with the following status can access the external system:

  • Employees on leave without pay, including maternity leave, parental leave, and long-term sick leave;
  • Employees leaving the Public Service, including new retirees and students;
  • Current employees who do not have access to the Government of Canada network due to the nature of their work.

As of January 10, 2024, in addition to pay and benefits information, registered users will be able to access their 2022 and prior year tax slips.

As for 2023 tax slips, they will be available by February 29, 2024. These slips will continue to be printed and mailed to employees to ensure a smooth transition. That is why it is important to confirm that your home and mailing addresses are up to date in the Phoenix self-service module. Should a change be required, it must be made via the Human Resources Management System (PeopleSoft), which will automatically transmit the data to the Pay System. Visit ParksNet to learn how to update your personal information in PeopleSoft.

Please refer to canada.ca/mygcpay-external for more information. If you require assistance related to your pay, please contact the Client Contact Centre.

Thank you,

Réa McKay

Vice President, Human Resources and Employee Wellness

Reminder to managers: In keeping with Parks Canada's procedures for communications with employees, managers are responsible for ensuring all employees under their responsibility receive the information intended for them. It is important that you find a means to transmit this message and, if any, the attachment(s) to employees without access to Parks Canada e-mail or the intranet, e.g., by posting it, circulating a paper copy or by any other appropriate means.
