Announcement – Appointment of Diane Wilson, Director, Asset Transformation

Colleagues,

I would like to announce the appointment of Diane Wilson to the position of Director, Asset Transformation within the Real Property and Asset Directorate, effective September 29, 2023. Diane will continue in her current acting role as Executive Director, Real Property and Asset Program Management.

Diane started her Public Service career at Parks Canada in 2004 as a Planner for the Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site as well as the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site. Before becoming an executive in 2012, Diane held various positions in program management and policy development, both at National Office and in Regional Operations.

In 2016, Diane became the Field Unit Superintendent, Yukon. In August 2021, she accepted a new leadership role in an acting capacity under the Long-Term Asset Sustainability initiative, which led to the creation of the new Real Property and Asset directorate.

Diane holds a Bachelor of Commerce, with specialization in marketing and economics, from the University of British Columbia as well as a Master of Resource Management from the Simon Fraser University.

Please join me in wishing Diane well in her new role.
