Announcement – Appointment of Alannah Phillips – Field Unit Superintendent, Mainland Nova Scotia

Colleagues,

I would like to announce the appointment of Alannah Phillips to the position of Field Unit Superintendent, Mainland Nova Scotia, within the Operations Directorate, effective June 30, 2023.

Alannah began her career with the federal public service in 2004 as Client Services Officer for Parks Canada Mainland Nova Scotia Field Unit. Since then, she has worked in various roles : Advisor, Office of the Vice-President, Eastern Canada; Strategic Advisor as well as External Relations Manager in the Cape Breton Field Unit; Senior Advisor, Office of the Executive Director, Atlantic; and Park Manager, Sable Island National Park Reserve. Most recently, she was part of the Resource Review Team.

Alannah is Co-Chair of Parks Canada’s Network of Women Employees and since 2018, she has been a member of the Employer’s team in Collective Bargaining.

Alannah holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, from Acadia University, as well as a Master in Business Administration, from Dalhousie University.
