Conclusion of the fourth collective bargaining session

Sent on January 27, 2023

Hello,

Representatives from the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and Parks Canada concluded their fourth round of discussions which took place from January 17 to 19, 2023.

The parties engaged in meaningful discussions to clarify their respective positions and to better understand the intent of previously tabled proposals. The climate at the negotiating table was cordial and things are moving forward in a constructive way.

The parties agreed on a list of non-monetary items. Progress was also made in the dialogue with respect to the use of gender-inclusive language.

The Alliance has tabled their full monetary proposal, which is currently being reviewed by Parks Canada.

We look forward to the discussions at the next session which will be held from February 6 to 8, 2023.

Thank you,

Réa McKay

Vice-President, Human Resources and Employee Wellness
