Tentative agreement between Parks Canada and PSAC

Dear colleagues,

It is my pleasure to announce that Parks Canada and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) have reached a tentative agreement.

During the five rounds of negotiations and this week’s mediation session, both sides worked hard and spent long hours at the bargaining table to find solutions and common ground. As a result, we have reached a tentative agreement that is fair and competitive for employees, and reasonable for Canadians. I am grateful for the efforts of the bargaining team who helped us reach this outcome.

The agreement addresses all key priorities put forward by both parties and reaches parity with the agreements negotiated within the core public administration. In addition to wage increases, it includes improved provisions and measures to better support all team members. More details about the agreement will be shared shortly.

Represented employees can expect to receive communications from their union in the coming days or weeks regarding ratification of the tentative agreement.

In the meantime, should you have any questions or concerns, please visit the collective bargaining page on ParksNet or refer to your union.
