Performance Management: Closing of the 2025-2026 Exercise
Good day everyone,
The end of the fiscal year is fast approaching and coincides with the completion of the End-of-Cycle Performance Review. More than just an administrative formality, these evaluations give us the opportunity to assess our progress, identify areas for improvement and set concrete objectives that will guide our work throughout the next year.
The performance evaluation period begins now! To contribute to the success of the End-of-Cycle Performance Review process, we propose a series of actions to be completed by April 30, 2026:
For non-PCX team members (excluded, unrepresented and non-excluded)
- Review your performance agreement, focusing on your accomplishments, challenges, and development goals. Refer to the Employee Self-Assessment Guide for assistance.
- Meet with your manager to discuss your results achieved and development needs.
- Once your manager has completed the evaluation, add your comments and sign your evaluation in the Public Service Performance Management (PSPM) application.
For managers
- Schedule individual meetings with each member of your team.
- Prepare your evaluations using concrete examples and observable facts. Consult the Guide to End-of-Cycle Performance Assessment for assistance.
- Meet with each employee for a constructive discussion focused on development and recognition.
- Document achievements and challenges, then complete and sign the evaluations in the PSPM application by April 30.
If you are unable to access the PSPM application, please use the paper form.
Seasonal staff
The performance cycle and deadlines may vary for seasonal employees. Based on seasonality, end-of-cycle evaluations must be completed before the end of the employment period. Visit the ParksNet page for seasonal employees for more information.
Resources and support
The Performance Management ParksNet pages offer a variety of tools and resources to support you throughout the process. I also invite you to participate in the sessions offered as part of the Performance and Talent Management Learning Series.
If you need support or clarification regarding the evaluation process, please contact the Performance and Talent Management team. They are here to help and will be happy to support you every step of the way.
Thank you for your collaboration in this important exercise that contributes to the development of our organization and our teams.
Sincerely,
Rawan El-Komos
