Launch of the online Workplace Accessibility Passport

Dear colleagues,

As part of National AccessAbility Week, Parks Canada is pleased to launch myAccessibleWorkplace (myAW), the digital version of the Government of Canada’s Workplace Accessibility Passport. MyAW is now available to all team members through the TBS Application Portal (TAP).

This initiative aligns with Parks Canada’s commitment to a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible federal public service, where employees are equipped to succeed.

The Passport is secure and easy to complete. It helps identify workplace barriers, document accommodation needs, and offer solutions. It stays with you throughout your federal public service career, reducing the need to repeatedly communicate your needs when roles or environments change.

Employees currently using the Microsoft Word version of the Passport may transfer their information into myAW or continue using the Word format if preferred.

Managers are encouraged to promote the Passport, engage in open, solution-focused discussions, and promptly implement agreed-upon accommodations.

Bilingual information sessions for employees and managers are available to demonstrate the digital Passport and explain how it supports accommodation needs. Visit ParksNet to select and register for a session, or to obtain more information. You can contact the Accessibility Passport team at the following address: AccessibilityPassport-Passeportpourlaccessibilite@pc.gc.ca.

Kind regards,

Rawan El-Komos
