Pink Shirt Day 2026

Dear colleagues,

Today is Pink Shirt Day, so we join people across Canada in standing up against bullying and reaffirming our commitment to kindness, respect, and inclusion in our workplace and communities.

Pink Shirt Day began as a student-led movement to support a classmate who was bullied for wearing a pink shirt. Today, it reminds us that small acts of solidarity can make a meaningful difference in creating safe and welcoming environments for everyone.

As Co-Champions of Wellness, we encourage you to take a moment to reflect on how all Parks Canada team members can, and should, contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, whether by checking in on a colleague, speaking up against harmful behaviour, or practicing empathy in our daily interactions.

We invite you to show your support by wearing pink and by participating in learning opportunities and wellness activities focused on respect in the workplace, inclusion, and psychological safety. More information is available on ParksNet.

Thank you for being part of this collective effort.
