Public Service Awards of Excellence
Dear colleagues,
Last week, you received the President and Chief Executive Officer’s (PCEO) message announcing the launch of the 2026 CEO Awards of Excellence, Parks Canada’s most prestigious internal recognition program. These awards highlight the exceptional contributions of our team members and partners. The deadline to submit a nomination is March 9, and we encourage you to recognize colleagues and teams who exemplify excellence within our organization.
In addition, the Public Service Awards of Excellence (PSAE) have also been launched. This is a Government of Canada–wide program open to all federal public servants. These high‑level awards spotlight achievements whose impact goes beyond the mandate or organizational boundaries of a department or agency. For accomplishments with broader, government‑wide significance at Parks Canada, the PSAE may be an additional pathway worth considering.
For full details on how to submit a PSAE nomination, please consult the instructions document. Completed nomination packages must be submitted to the National Recognition Team by Monday, March 2.
Thank you for taking the time to recognize the outstanding achievements of public servants — both within Parks Canada and across the Government of Canada.
Warm regards,
Rawan El-Komos
Vice President, Human Resources and Employee Wellness
