Prince Edward Island National Park
Prince Edward Island National Park is open for you to enjoy with most facilities open from mid-May to early autumn every year. Full services are available in July and August. Limited services are available in May and June and again in September and October.
Park kiosks and gates will be open from June 6 to September 3.

Visitor Information Centre

Greenwich Interpretation Centre
Open daily, 9 am to 5 pm,
June 6 to September 13, 2023.
Location: 59 Wild Rose Road,
Greenwich, Prince Edward Island.
Beaches

There are numerous spectacular beaches located within PEI National Park from Cavendish to Greenwich. To access these beaches, all boardwalks and stairs will be installed from the Victoria Day weekend in May to late September every year.

PEI National Park offers surf guard services in peak season at the following locations:
- Cavendish Main Beach: June 28 to September 4, 10 am to 6 pm daily
- Cavendish Campground Beach: June 29 to September 4, 11 am to 5 pm daily
- Brackley Beach: June 28 to September 4, 10 am to 6 pm daily
- Stanhope Main Beach: June 29 to August 27, 11 am to 6 pm daily
- Ross Lane Beach: June 29 to August 20, 11 am to 5 pm daily
- Greenwich Beach: June 29 to August 20, 11 am to 6 pm daily
- North Rustico Beach: No supervision

There are many scenic trails located within Prince Edward Island National Park, each with its own unique features. The trails vary in length as well as in sight and sound.

Farmlands Trail
Length: 2.9 km
Difficulty: Easy
Starts 2 km east of Stanhope, to the south of the Gulf Shore Parkway.

Bubbling Springs
Length: 2.5 km

Prince Edward Island National Park is open for Islanders and other visitors to continue to enjoy during the winter; however, facilities in the park are closed between Thanksgiving Day (mid-October) and Victoria Day (mid-May), other than those at Cavendish Campground's Winter Activity Hub on weekends.
Parks Canada continues to clear snow from the Gulf Shore Parkway between Cavendish and North Rustico and between Brackley and Dalvay to allow access during the winter.

Parks Canada does not groom cross-country ski trails, monitor and remove felled trees from trails (other than the groomed Cavendish Campground trails), maintain beach accesses or maintain Dalvay Lake for skating. Washroom facilities and warm-up shelters remain closed.
Please note: There is limited emergency services provided by Parks Canada during winter hours. Visitors are welcome to explore the park by foot, snowshoe or skis, view wildlife, and participate in other preferred winter activities, but should be reminded that they are responsible for their own safety.
