Summer in Jasper National Park

Jasper National Park

Visiting Jasper National Park in the summer season can be pretty spectacular; however, it’s also extremely busy! More than 1.5 million visitors travel to Jasper between June and September. During your visit, you’ll be sharing this special place with others: please be prepared for crowds and line-ups, remember to pack your patience and be respectful to the people and wildlife you encounter.

This summer, you’ll notice some changes in the landscape. Jasper is in the process of healing after the 2024 wildfire, and we’re so glad you’re here to be part of its story of recovery. Your visit means a lot—to the community, to the park, and to the future of this special place.
