Camping

Jasper welcomes all forms of campers – from those interested in cozying up in a one-person bivy tent to those cruising in a 40-foot motor home. A few of our campgrounds are still fully operational until mid to late October.

Dark sky viewing

The month of October is dark sky month and what better way to celebrate than a festival! The Annual Jasper Dark Sky Festival runs in October each year. For more information, visit Tourism Jasper.

Hiking

Jasper offers up a variety of hikes for all adventure levels. Whether you are looking to venture a short distance from the townsite or scramble a mountain, we have it covered. Fall temperatures are most enjoyable for hiking in the Rocky Mountains.

Miette Hot Springs

The crisp fall air makes the steamy hot waters of Miette Hot Springs even more enjoyable! Miette Hot Springs is open until mid October. Check the hours of operation.

Mountain biking

Immerse yourself in nature while avoiding crowds on our cruisy mountain biking trails. Cyclists return to Jasper in the fall months to explore our well-connected and maintained routes.
