While the Coboconk Dam is located within the City of Kawartha Lakes, it is located at the outlet of the Silver and Shadow Lake system on the Gull River, which is a part of the Haliburton reservoir system.

- Rehabilitation of the steel superstructure
- Replacement of the existing steel deck with a new wood deck
- Rehabilitation of the concrete foundations
- Replacement of mechanical and electrical operating systems

An improved wooden deck is being installed that is both in keeping with the original heritage structure, and also facilitates the community’s ability to host parades featuring livestock. A waterproof membrane under the decking will protect the steel structure, and electrical and mechanical components below.More Information
