Road Closure Notice: Port Severn Road North Little Chute Dam “G” Rehabilitation

PORT SEVERN, ONARIO – February 15, 2024 – Parks Canada advises the public of a road closure of Port Severn Road North in the vicinity of Little Chute Dam “G” (1 km west of Lock 45), from Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. until Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.

This closure is required to facilitate construction work as part of the Parks Canada Little Chute Dam “G” Rehabilitation project. Signage will be in place for the duration of this closure.

Parks Canada thanks area residents and visitors for their patience and understanding.

This important infrastructure work will ensure safe, high-quality experiences for visitors. Parks Canada is committed to improving heritage, visitor, waterway, and highway assets located within national historic sites, national parks, and national marine conservation areas, including investments in the Trent-Severn Waterway National Historic Site of Canada.
