  • Launch of the Route Bleue at the Chambly Canal - Learn-to Paddleboard

    Parks Canada welcomes you to the Chambly Canal in front of Bridge No 10 for a free paddleboard initiation. Certified instructors will teach you basic paddling techniques and how to control a paddleboard safely. Come and take advantage of the calm waters of the Chambly Canal to feel the softness of the water under your board in an enchanting setting and discover this unique sport. We look forward to seeing you at 10 a.m. on August 22, 2024!

    Reservations are required.

    Important information

    - Arrive 15 minutes before the activity begins to register to Parks Canada staff.

    - This is a bilingual activity. For safety reasons, each participant must have a good knowledge of one or other of these languages.

    - Wear weather-appropriate clothing.

    - You must bring your own water bottle, hat, sunscreen and snacks.

    - Toilets are available nearby.

    - Learn-to paddleboard activity is for beginners who have little to no experience in the water. A good physical condition is necessary to paddle properly.

    - The activity is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

    - Animals are not allowed on the paddleboard.
