School programs

Halifax Citadel National Historic Site

Parks Canada is pleased to offer a selection of educational programs at the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site that will suit the interests and curriculum needs of all school grade levels, Primary through Grade 9. A variant program is also available for High Schools, contact us directly for more information. Additional programs can be developed to meet specific requirements; call to discuss.

Taking a hands-on approach, each program has been developed to match an array of Social Studies curriculum and also to be exciting and entertaining.

After your program we invite you to take some time to explore the Halifax Citadel. Parking and washrooms available on site.

Teachers receive complimentary entry. Chaperones receive complimentary entry based on 5:1 ratio (kids:chaperones).
