La Mauricie National Park
From March 31 to May 14, 2025 inclusive, the facilities are closed and there is no service on park territory. The Parkway is closed. A gradual opening will take place for the summer season. Starting May 15, the park will open the Saint-Gérard and Rivière à la Pêche sectors. Visitors will be able to access the trails, campgrounds and oTENTiks in these sectors by purchasing their park entrance fee. From May 23, the Parkway will be completely open to motorized vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. Visitors who decide to access the trails are responsible for their own safety and must be self-reliant in the event of any emergency situation. Emergency services may be unavailable or significantly delayed during this period. Cell phone services do not cover the entire La Mauricie National Park territory. Both accessible and wild, the park offers adventures for everyone, to the rhythm of the four seasons. Hike, camp, canoe, cycle, ski or drive through the park to discover this protected territory, where Indigenous knowledge, vacationing and logging have all left their mark. You'll feel welcome and safe, in the heart of an inviting source of wilderness and Mauricie culture.
Using recreational drones in La Mauricie National Park is prohibited. Anyone caught operating a drone within park boundaries may result in law enforcement action and a fine of up to $25,000.
