  On September 7 and 8, 2024, Cyclo-Mauricie and La Mauricie National Park welcome the participants who will challenge the kilometers of the Parkway by bike on Saturday or the trails by run or walk on Sunday.

  Exclusively in La Mauricie National Park, several challenges await participants during the Défis du Parc. On Saturday, cyclists will ride the exceptional Parkway. On Sunday, runners and walkers will come to survey the hiking trails with a unique experience in the middle of nature.

  To ensure a safe event, Parkway will be closed from Rivière à la Pêche area to the Mistagance fork from Friday, September 6 at 9 PM to Saturday, September 7 at 6 PM Similarly, the section of the road leading to Bouchard Lake will be closed on Sunday between 7 AM and 1 PM. Multi-use trails #3, 5, 6, 6A, 11 and 12 will also be closed from 7 AM to 2 PM on Sunday.

  The Rivière à la Pêche area will therefore be very busy on Saturday and Sunday, and daytime access to certain services, such as the area's charging stations and access to the service centre dining room, will be impossible. Please also note that parking lots in the area will be very busy and traffic will be slow. The Shewenegan area will remain accessible throughout the event.

  This activity is an event organized every fall on Thanksgiving Sunday, to thank nature for what it provides all year round. A series of activities will be offered so that visitors can take the time to thank nature and reconnect on the Shewenegan Picnic Area.
