La Mauricie National Park
As La Mauricie National Park is very popular, we encourage visitors to arrive early and plan their visit during less busy periods and in lesser-known areas.
Some parking lots may be full due to heavy traffic in certain areas of the park. The situation can change rapidly over the course of a day.
We recommend having an alternative plan if their original destination is not accessible when they arrive at the park. Employees, mobile teams and the website can help visitors choose their destinations in the park.
* Please note that the Reception Centres at the Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc and Saint-Jean-des-Piles entrances are closed to the public for the entire 2025 season.
SEASONAL CLOSURE
As of October 27, 2025, the facilities at La Mauricie National Park are closed and no services are available.
Parkway is closed to motor vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians.

The winter season will begin on December 12, 2025.
