    Celebrate Canada’s 157th Birthday with FREE ADMISSION!

    Time your visit to include the iconic firing of the noon gun followed by a 21-gun salute at the front entrance saluting battery.

    Explore the Citadel’s newest exhibits and enjoy the atmosphere while you celebrate our nation’s birthday!

  • Remembrance Day Commemorations

    Parks Canada and the Halifax Citadel are honoured to join in Remembrance Day commemorations.

    Starting at 11 am the 1st Field Artillery Regiment will fire a 21-gun salute at the front entrance followed by the firing of the noon gun.

    The Halifax Citadel is open from 9 am to 5 pm.

    The Army Museum is open from 10 am until 2 pm.
