Pine Lake Day Use Area

Spend the day at the beach! Before you go, rent canoes or standup paddleboards from the Fort Smith Visitor Centre.

Salt Plains Day Use Area

This is the most spectacular picnic setting in the park. Make some coffee outside and watch the sunrise over the Salt Plains. Hike 750 m down to the plains and enjoy a moment in the Red Chairs.

Angus Day Use Area

Located halfway between the communities of Hay River and Fort Smith, this is a great place to take a break. Look into the Angus Sinkhole, play on the swing and slide, or just relax in the quiet before you continue on your trip.
