Kouchibouguac National Park

You’re never too young or too old to enjoy the thrills of tobogganing in Kouchibouguac National Park! Make your way to Patterson Hill via snowshoe or fat bike from the Pijeboogwek parking lot. Bundle up and share the ride, you’ll go faster with a full load! Prefer a gentler adventure? Take one of the two trails designed for winter walking and bring a thermos of coffee or hot chocolate to enjoy at the shelter at the end of the trail.
Fundy National Park

The fun doesn’t have to stop once winter arrives in Fundy National Park! Ride the trails on your fat bike or traverse the snow via snowshoe! The Chignecto Recreation Area is the place to be this winter with various groomed trails, a heated pavilion with toilets, showers, tables, and two wood stoves for cooking.
Want to blaze your own trail on ungroomed paths? Head to Route 114 and choose your adventure with several snowshoe trails, each offering a unique perspective. Best of all, dogs on leashes are allowed. Discover Point Wolfe Road, the best-kept winter secret which takes you 7.5-km one-way to the iconic covered bridge and Point Wolfe shelter, where you can spend the night!
