    Our friends Charlo and Zabeth will be back at Mkwesaqtuk/Cap-Rouge starting this Wednesday, July 3! Join them at 4:00 p.m. for Acadian interpretation, step back in time to the year 1935 as they get ready to embark on a journey to the old country, France!

    Learn about the lives of those who settled at Cap-Rouge, chat with Charlo and Zabeth, or learn an Acadian song or two!

    Discover the wonders of the night sky during our weekend of star parties! Spend some special time looking up, learning, and peering through telescopes at the incredible night sky over the highlands. These parties coincide with the peak dates of the Perseids meteor shower, so plenty of shooting stars are in the forecast.

  • Junior Naturalist Program

    Calling all junior nature enthusiasts! Cape Breton Highlands National Park is offering an exciting summer program for kids!

    Location(s): Black Brook Beach, Cape Breton Highlands National Park

    Junior Naturalists is a day camp for children aged 6 to 12 and their families. Spend five fun-filled days of nature exploration, observation and adventure! Join us 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. from August 12 to 16 for a fun-filled week focused on the pollinators.
