Fort Chambly National Historic Site

Visit this fortification that has been largely restored to its original architecture, learn about the lives of French soldiers in the days of New France, as well as their daily lives and their contribution to history, and picnic while you admire the stone fort.

Useful information

Fort Chambly National Historic Site is temporarily closed to the public for the season and will reopen in spring 2026.

In the meantime, the site welcomes groups (schools, social clubs, etc.) for guided tours from April to October, upon reservation only. See details.
