    Balu Pass Guided Hike: Bear Trails and Tales

    Discover the secret world of bear signs. Look for bear trails, scat and tracks and learn how to hike safely in bear country. Though we may see a bear on this hike if we are lucky, we will not be seeking them out. The focus of this hike is to learn about bear biology and how to hike safely in bear country.

    When: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (PDT) on the following dates: 

    • Saturday, July 4
    • Wednesday, July 15
    • Wednesday, August 5
    • Saturday, August 29

    Where: Meet at Summit Station visitor centre in Roger's Pass. The hike will be on the Balu Pass Trail - a moderately strenuous hike on a natural trail with some stairs and steep sections; 12.8 km return.

    Price: $97.50/person
