Overnight mooring

Carillon Canal National Historic Site

Sitting on the Ottawa River in a magnificent natural setting, the Carillon Canal is a colossal work that is worth seeing! To enjoy the many attractions located nearby, overnight mooring is offered on the concrete and wooden wharves installed downstream, as well as upstream from the lock.

No reservations required, it's first come, first served! Please contact lock station personnel to validate the accessibility of wharves depending on water level conditions.

Docking areas

Multiple overnight mooring spots are available at the lock of the Carillon Canal National Historic Site. Come enjoy the Carillon Park, restaurants, visit the Hydro-Quebec Carillon generating station (Hydro-Québec reservation required), Voyageur Provincial Park of Ontario, Argenteuil Regional Museum and Boisé multiressource Von Allmen, etc.

Important

  • Mooring in the blue area (waiting zone for the next lock passage) during operating hours is prohibited.
  • Mooring is permitted for a maximum of 48 consecutive hours (please consult the lock operators to extend your stay).
  • Generators are permitted during daytime hours only (from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.).
