Club Parka Program for Preschool Kids

Hey parents!

This busy little beaver is ready to welcome you and your family to Canada’s national parks, national historic sites and marine conservation areas. There is so much for preschoolers to see and do.

Parka encourages kids to explore the world around them, whether on a hike along wilderness trails or a step back in history at a site or fort. Spending time in nature has many benefits for young children – including increased fitness levels, powers of concentration, creativity, sociability and empathy – and visits to historic sites cultivate an appreciation for Canada's past and of those who have come before us.

Parka is eagerly waiting to introduce your child to the wonders of Parks Canada places. Find out more about Club Parka and ask a park interpreter or at any Visitor Centre for a copy of the new Club Parka activity booklet!
