Saturdays in July and August

Sign up to join the Michilimackinac Company during the turbulent times before the War of 1812. Learn how fur traders, in an alliance with First Nations peoples and the British military joined together to capture Fort Michilimackinac at the beginning of the war. You’ll get to fire a replica flintlock North West trade musket, and be ready to join the Fencibles!

You must be at least 16 years old; youth between the ages of 16-18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

You must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.

Experience is weather and staffing dependent.

This activity is available at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm: maximum 4 participants per time slot.
