Step into the intrigue of 18th-century Louisbourg in this interactive quest designed for families and groups!

There’s a spy within the walls of Louisbourg! Help the French King protect the Fortress. Solve the riddles to track down the traitor, then use the code-phrase to trick them into giving up their stolen plans. Use your wits or all is lost!

How it works:

Begin your mission at the De la Plagne reception counter (#23), where you’ll receive:

• A reusable program sheet
• A dry erase marker
• A short briefing on your top-secret assignment

Set out at your own pace—there’s no time limit—as you follow clues guiding you to different historic locations throughout the Fortress. At each stop, costumed interpreters share a prop and a tantalizing piece of evidence that will help you uncover the spy’s identity.

Mission Complete:

Return the stolen plans to De la Plagne (#23) to claim your reward recognizing your service to King Louis and the colony. Throughout the rest of your visit, watch for staff who may congratulate you on your bravery and cunning!
