We partnered with local restaurants on a Perfect Picnic! Pick up a ready-made lunch and let nature design your dining space. Fort Anne and Port-Royal national historic sites both offer spectacular water views and expansive lawns ideal for laying a picnic blanket – add yourself and bon appétit!
The Parks Canada Perfect Picnic is available from participating restaurants from July 1 to October 31.

- Ham and cheese served on a brioche bun with red onion and garlic mayo

Call 902-354-3456 anytime during restaurant hours (Monday to Friday: 11 am to 8 pm, Saturday and Sunday: 8 am to 8 pm).
Order can be placed on site or by phone. Payment required at the time of order.

- Lobster rolls: chunks of tender, fresh lobster tossed in a tangy horseradish mayonnaise with a spritz of lemon, celery, green onion and arugula served on a soft brioche roll.
- Summer garden salad: mixed greens with fresh local goodness and a house-made dressing.
- Choice of dessert: apple crisp, brownie sundae, coconut cream pie, or turtle cheesecake (selection may vary)
- VanDyk’s Blueberry Lemonade.
2) Picnic Lunch: $27 plus tax
- Choose one of the following sandwiches on your choice of Lane’s famous brown bread, 7 grain or white bread
- Ham and cheddar
- Chicken club with bacon, tomato and greens
- Summer garden salad: mixed greens with fresh local goodness and a house-made dressing
- Choice of dessert: apple crisp, brownie sundae, coconut cream pie, or turtle cheesecake (selection may vary)
