Our twist on "take-out": Everything tastes better when you eat it outside!

We partnered with local restaurants on a Perfect Picnic! Pick up a ready-made lunch and let nature design your dining space. Fort Anne and Port-Royal national historic sites both offer spectacular water views and expansive lawns ideal for laying a picnic blanket – add yourself and bon appétit!

The Parks Canada Perfect Picnic is available from participating restaurants from July to October 31.

  2. Pick up your lunch
  3. Find your perfect picnic place and enjoy!

  • Choice of locally-sourced schnitzel, salami, or Dutch gouda and veggies served on a homemade Kaiser roll
  • Served with a turnover

2) German Sausage: $32 (tax included)
  • German Bratwurst sausage with your choice of homemade sauerkraut or potato salad
  • Served with a turnover
  • Choice of water or canned pop

Menu

1) The Hollow Log Café Wrap and Salad: $20 (plus tax)
  • Wrap options include:
    • Club (bacon, ham and turkey)
    • Chicken Caesar
    • Garlic Roast Chicken 
    • Veggie
  • Complete your wrap with your choice of fresh local veggies: lettuce, tomato, green pepper, pickles, olives, cucumber, hot peppers, red onion.
  • Served with mayonnaise and mozzarella cheese
  • Choice of Caesar, Greek or Garden Salad
  • Bottle of water
  • Please note: the wrap will be ready to go and the salad will be deconstructed and toppings and dressing need to be added. Ice will be provided to keep the items fresh and chilled.
Extras
  • Choice of square: $3 plus tax
  • Choice of homemade pie: $5 plus tax
