Townsite Management Program Privacy Notice Statement

The information you provide is collected under the authority of section 8 of the Canada National Parks Act to support and manage program activities related to service delivery for townsite management including the delivery of essential municipal services such as water, wastewater, roads, and community infrastructures. It also ensures that Parks Canada meets it's mandate to maintain the ecological and commemorative integrity of the surrounding national parks, ensuring that development and municipal services are delivered responsibly and in alignment with federal requirements.

The information you provide may be used and/or disclosed for policy analysis, research and/or evaluation purposes. However, these additional uses and/or disclosures of your personal information will not result in an administrative decision being made about you.

The information you provide may be shared with internally within Parks Canada only to the extent necessary to support community functionality within townsites for the purpose of supporting and managing program activities related to service delivery for townsite management.

Your personal information is administered in accordance with section 8 of the Canada National Parks Act, the Privacy Act and other applicable laws. You have the right to the protection of, access to, and correction of your personal information, which is described in Personal Information Bank(s) Realty Activities PC PPU 101 and Land Use Planning Activities PC PPU 100.
