Facilities and services
Grasslands National Park
Grasslands National Park is divided into two blocks - East and West. Each Block is accessed through different communities, with a wide variety of services. Within the boundary of Grasslands National Park there are no services such as fuel, grocery, auto mechanic, or medical centres. Surrounding communities offer some of these services but hours of operation often vary seasonally, and are not 24/7. Please plan ahead and research your route as well as available services along that route. See local tourism page for information about surrounding communities.
The Visitor Centre in Val Marie is wheelchair accessible and features larger washroom stall with hand rail. The Frenchman Valley Campground has a designated accessible site close to the vault toilets and a water tap. The Campground Reception is also wheelchair accessible. Lookouts are equipped with spotting scopes at lower heights.
The Rock Creek Campground Reception is accessible by wheel chair and there are wheelchair accessible vault toilets in two locations throughout the Campground. Lookouts are equipped with spotting scopes at lower heights.
