The information is collected under subsection 4 (1) of the Parks Canada Agency Act and subsection 8 (2) of the Loi sur les parcs nationaux du Canada for the ecological integrity monitoring program and natural resource monitoring protocols are used to estimate population abundance, know seasonal dispersion of wildlife as well as measure the impact of visitors and the evolution of ecological processes.

Since all photographic or videographic content showing an individual will be deleted from the files following the finding, Parks Canada will not be able to grant rights related to access to the photos or videos that have been taken.

Your personal information will be administered in accordance with the Privacy Act.

Wildlife photographic or videographic content can be exchanged with Environment and Climate Change Canada, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Natural Resources Canada, le ministère de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques du Québec et le ministère de la Forêt, de la Faune et des Parcs du Québec for a resource conservation and management purpose, or with third parties other than governments for a conservation purpose, as well as strategic analysis or research and development needs.
