This activity is an event organized every fall on Thanksgiving Sunday, to thank nature for what it provides all year round. A series of activities will be offered so that visitors can take the time to thank nature and reconnect on the Shewenegan Picnic Area.

A five-station nature trail is set up and animated in La Mauricie National Park:

  • Hugging Tree: hug a tree
  • Wishing Tree: make a wish for the planet
  • Voluntary Slowdown Area: to take the time to slow down
  • Vitamin N: to fill up on vitamin nature
  • Nature’s Guest Book: to leave nature a thank-you note
