Visitor reports of bear observations and incidents that require the use of bear deterrents, including firearms, provide very important information for managing bears within Thaidene Nene National Park Reserve.

Helpful information to report to Parks Canada staff or Ni Hat’ni Dene Rangers:

• Number, species and colour/description of bear(s)
• Location (GPS coordinates if possible)
• Distance from observer
• Bear behaviour
• Details about the incident
• Observer contact information
