Frontcountry campgrounds
- Sites are available for the Townsite Campground by first come, first serve self-registration.
- Belly River Campground is closed for the season.
- Crandell Mountain Campground remains closed due to damage sustained in the Kenow Wildfire.
Winter camping
Pass Creek Day Use Area, located on the Entrance Parkway about four kilometers from the entrance gate, offers a sheltered winter campground, free of charge.
The Alpine Club of Canada (ACC) operate a backcountry cabin in Waterton Lakes National Park (Cameron Lake Cabin), providing overnight accommodation in the winter.
Backcountry camping
Backcountry camping is a great way to experience the wilderness of Waterton Lakes National Park.
There are nine backcountry campgrounds available for reservation.
Group camping
Belly River Group Campground is available by registration only.
