In order to carry out major restoration work on the historic buildings situated on île aux Noix, the fortification of the Fort Lennox National Historic Site is closed to the public for the entire season.

Fort Lennox is located on île-aux-Noix, part of the municipality of Saint-Paul-de-l'Île-aux-Noix, 60 km south of Montréal.

The reception centre is accessible by car. There is visitor parking. A boat provides a 5-10-minute shuttle service from the wharf near the reception centre to Île aux Noix where you'll find Fort Lennox: the star of the Richelieu River. Admission tickets must be purchased or validated with a Parks Canada employee.

Boaters have access to the public wharf on the east side of the island. Admission tickets must be purchased or validated with a Parks Canada employee at the entrance to the fort.

Plan at least a half day visit to have the time to fully enjoy the beauty of the site and to gather an abundance of memorable images.
