Visitor Campfire Ban in place for Thaidene Nene National Park Reserve

Based on current and forecasted conditions of extremely dry weather, campfire ban is in effect for Thaidene Nene National Park Reserve. This includes all open fires, including wood burning fires in open fire pits, charcoal, briquette or wood barbecues, tiki torches and outdoor wood burning stoves. The use of camp stoves, BBQ’s, and gas-fuelled cooking devices is permitted. Flame height in these devices must not exceed 0.5 metres in height and diameter.
