Thaidene Nëné National Park Reserve

The hiking opportunities are infinite. However, there are no maintained trails in the National Park Reserve. Hiking in the park requires preparedness, sturdy footwear and comfort with navigation. Natural terrain hazards and features vary widely, ranging from Canadian shield rock to wet and marshy taiga. Backcountry routes, such as the historic Pike’s Portage are not maintained nor do they have trail markers. Guide and outfitting services offer the safest and easiest way for hikers to experience Thaidene Nëné.

To get to the park you’ll need to charter a plane, arrive by boat or be part of a guided trip.
