Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site

Restricted activity: Preservation of Mi'kmaw heritage and petroglyph sites

Until further notice.

Prohibited activities:

Pursuant to section 12(1) of the National Historic Parks General Regulations, the following activities are hereby PROHIBITED by order of the Superintendent, Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site of Canada.

It is prohibited to:

Enter the Kejimkujik Mi’kmaw Petroglyph sites.

Where:

Mi’kmaw Petroglyph sites within Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site of Canada as delineated below.

Why:

To preserve the integrity of the heritage site and minimize the risk of Petroglyph damage.

Penalty:

It is an offence under the Canada National Parks Act to contravene these prohibitions. Violators may be charged.
