Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site

Summer guided experiences are offered in July and August. Fall guided experiences are offered from September to October. Reconnect with the land as you learn about local Mi’kmaw culture, explore the gentle waterways, and experience the depths of the Dark-Sky Preserve in the company of our skilled interpreters.

Registration and cancellations

Registration

Registration opens on May 15, 2026.

Registration is required for some programs due to limited space. Please register at least one hour before the program start time.

Register at the Visitor Centre or call 902-682-2772.

Fees

Many programs are free with admission to Kejimkujik, and some programs require a fee per person.

Cancellations

Cancellations are fully refundable if you cancel 24 hours before the program start time, or if the program is cancelled by Parks Canada staff due to severe weather or low registration.

Tips

Please plan to arrive about five minutes before the program’s scheduled start time so we can begin together.

Take a moment to review the age requirements for each program to be sure it’s a good fit.

If you’re bringing a furry friend, please check ahead to confirm pets are welcome. When allowed, pets must be kept on a leash at all times, and we appreciate your help cleaning up after them.

Come prepared by bringing any gear or equipment you may need to fully enjoy the program.

Let our Visitor Centre staff know if you have any special needs or requirements—we’re happy to help.

Be sure to bring along any necessary medical equipment or medications so you’re comfortable throughout the program.
