By car and on foot

Twin Falls Tea House National Historic Site can be reached only on foot. It is a pleasant 3 hour hike (one-way) from the Takakkaw Falls parking lot. To reach the parking lot, drive west of Lake Louise, Alberta or east of Field, British Columbia. Turn off onto the Yoho Valley road 33 km west of Lake Louise or 3.5 km east of Field, British Columbia. Drive to the end of the scenic Yoho Valley road and park at Takakkaw Falls. 

Twin Falls - Trail Description

Please note: GPS is unreliable in the mountains. Yoho Valley road is open mid-June through mid-October. RVs and trailers are not permitted due to steep switchbacks. There is no public transportation in Yoho National Park.
